Day 1
• Introduction to a range of welding-related terms – 1 hour

• Interpretation of weld tests and their applicability in practical cases – 2 hours
• The difference between pWPS, WPQR and WPS and what is stated in each document – 2 hours
• Design of a welding plan (practical exercise) – 2 hours
Day 2
• Review of a welding plan – 1 hour
• Material qualities and standards – 1 hour
• Basic information on parts of welding equipment – 1 hour
• Classification and different types of flux materials – 1 hour
• Visual inspection of welds with practical exercises – 3 hours
